Maverick helps Luna survive then he "Pays It Forward"
Maverick is one of my grandkids who sadly passed away when he was 5 days old. He came back as a monarch butterfly to watch over his family (my grandkids who are his brother & sister and cousins). He adopts Luna as his family and teaches him how to survive in illinois. He also shares 3 important lessons Luna passes on.

Join Luna, a hitchhiking gecko, on his adventure from Florida to Woodsmoke Ranch in Illinois. Along the way, Luna makes a new family who help him overcome adversities and survive deadly predators and the cold winter. Learn the lessons of kindness, family, and paying it forward, as told through the eyes of Luna and the monarch butterfly, Maverick, who watches over his entire family.

Felicia helped calm Luna on his adventure by being very warm and comforting to him. When they were being chased by an owl Felicia was was quick thinking and brave to jump on Lunas back to protect him since Owls won't eat fireflies since they are poisonous.
